A few people have asked what I use to make the comic. Awkward Shelby is done all by hand, and goes through minor digital edits later on.

I typically draw my comics on Marker paper since it holds in ink very well and doesn't smear as easily. (Top to bottom) Staedtler 0.5 Pigment Liner pen for linework, triangular 0.2 Pentech wooden pencil, Pilot Precise V5 Rolling Ball red pen, Red Sharpie Permanent Marker, Black Sharpie Permanent Marker, Post-it Yellow highlighter (which shows up as a creamy yellow when scanned), Stadtler white rubber eraser, and a typical metal pencil sharpener.

Marker paper? I usually just steal printer paper from work. I'm going to have to ask my boss if they'll start carrying it...I mean buy some from staples.
